President Pavel begins visit to Argentina

Czech President Petr Pavel and his wife Eva have begun an official visit to Argentina, arriving in Buenos Aires on Monday. Their first day includes a visit to the Holocaust Museum and the opening of a business forum, accompanied by a delegation focused mainly on defence and security cooperation.

Government approves bill to regulate fuel prices more easily

The Czech government has approved a draft law allowing it to regulate fuel prices more easily during crises. Finance Minister Alena Schillerová (ANO) said the measure would enable future cabinets to act swiftly through government decrees, similar to existing rules for electricity and gas.
