Electricity consumption in Czechia continues to rise despite higher prices
Electricity consumption in Czechia continued to grow in the second quarter of this year despite rising prices, according to an analysis by energy company Amper Meteo. Weather-adjusted electricity use was up 2.3 percent year on year, while electricity prices increased by 26 percent. Despite the recent growth, electricity consumption remains 5.5 percent below the average recorded before the energy crisis.

Macinka would like to complete embassy move to Jerusalem
Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka (Motorists) said he would like to complete the relocation of the Czech embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem by the end of his term in office. He told journalists this after a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar at Prague’s Černín Palace.

Nosková joins Muchová in Wimbledon semifinals
Linda Nosková reached her first Grand Slam semifinal on Wednesday after defeating Elise Mertens 6-3, 7-5 in the Wimbledon quarterfinals.
