Pirate MP Tomáš Vymazal suggests creating special facilities across the Czech Republic where people could use drugs safely under the supervision of health professionals. The aim is to lower the number of drug-related deaths in the country, and reduce the amount of drug use on the street and the problems it causes. The rooms would mainly serve the most vulnerable groups of drug addicts who have lost their families, ended up on the streets, and are not interested in quitting drugs. People would inject the drug themselves, and the medical staff would be ready to intervene on the spot in the event of an overdose. Workers could test the drug for dangerous ingredients to prevent overdose or death. Addicts would also have access to hot showers and snacks on site. In 2020 the turnover of products sold over the internet in the Czech Republic reached a value of 196 billion CZK, which is a total share of 16,2 % on the whole value of the retail sector. The number of employees directly in e-shops hit almost 75 000 in the last year and the next 30 000 employees worked for the downstream service providers. The number of e-shops grew by 6 % and reached the total number of 49 500 e-shops based on the data. In recent weeks, FlixBus has renewed connections between Prague and Paris and plans to open direct flights to Croatian resorts. The bus company will also resume other international connections from Prague to Zurich, Switzerland (June 2) and Lyon and Metz in France (June 3). The buses will be operated four times a week, (from Prague on Thursday to Sunday, back from Friday to Monday). The bus to Zurich will leave Prague at 9 am, stop in seven cities in Germany (Regensburg, Augsburg, Tübingen, Stuttgart Airport) and arrive in Zurich at 20:30. The connection to Lyon will run overnight. He will leave Florenc at 21:25 and will arrive the next day at 13:20.
