Czech Airlines have recently announced new dates for this special tourist service, targeting local citizens aiming to help them rediscover their own capital. A series of adventure flights will take a small number of passengers on a sightseeing flight above Prague. The tickets cost CZK 1,490. One person was killed and dozens injured when two trains collided in the Czech Republic’s second fatal rail crash this month, officials said. The Czech Rail Safety Inspectorate said the accident occurred near the station of Český Brod located just east of Prague shortly after 21.30 p.m. It said the passenger train smashed into the standing freight train. The regional rescue service said up to 35 passengers were injured. Some were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the train drivers died in the crash, CTK news agency reported. There were around 100 people on board the train at the time of the accident. The major track linking the capital with the eastern part of the country is expected to be closed until Wednesday morning, the Czech Railways said. Huawei and Seznam has announced a partnership to feature Seznam.cz services pre-installed in new Huawei phones launched in the Czech Republic. “Huawei and Seznam.cz have agreed on partnerships and cooperation in many areas. Seznam.cz, as a major developer of many mobile applications in the Czech Republic, supports Huawei in building its own application store. The recently introduced P40, P40 Pro and P40 Lite phones are the first models, and we believe that our customers will appreciate it,” Czech News Agency (CTK) quoted Filip Matys, Huawei’s product portfolio manager, as saying on Monday. The new phones will have access to apps such as Mapy.cz, Novinky.cz, Seznam.cz, Seznam news, Televiz Seznam, Email.cz, and more. A Czech woman from Nový Jičin could face up to eight years in prison for ignoring the home quarantine prescribed by the local hospital. In May, the woman was required to self-isolate for two weeks upon being discharged from the city hospital, where a few COVID-19 infections had occurred, Czech Television reported. During the self-quarantine period, the woman left her home in the Moravian-Silesian Region, took a taxi to a shopping center, and visited a few public places without wearing a face mask. According to the Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch, the compulsory use of facemasks on public transport may return from October or November. “In autumn, the normal seasonal flu could compound health risks stemming from the coronavirus pandemic. Additional tests will also be needed to exclude other diseases,” says Vojtech. “The incidence of the disease will determine whether we need to wear face masks again. We need to prevent the spread of infection when other respiratory viruses will circulate,” added Vojtěch. Currently, masks are mandatory only in the Prague metro and in public transport in the Moravian-Silesian and Jihlava regions. It should also be worn in inpatient facilities and nursing homes, as well as indoors at public events. Comet Neowise might just be the biggest space snowball in decades. After two other promising comets discovered earlier this year — Swan and Atlas — fizzled and faded away, Comet C/2020 F3 (aka Neowise) appears poised to deliver a spectacular show.
