Catering to Comfort: Dash “Cloud Kitchen” in Prague

The COVID pandemic brought many hardships to small businesses and restaurants, however, it’s important also to consider the positives that it brought in terms of innovation and creativity.

That’s what makes Dash Kitchen an exemplary example of these achievements, behind the ideas of Mo, an Egyptian native who grew up in UAE, but studied here in Czechia at CVUT (Czech Technical University in Prague).

Combining his academic background in electrical engineering and computer science with his family’s business experience in fashion and clothes manufacturing in Kuwait, Mo left the technical world behind to bring his new ideas to light in entrepreneurship.

Instilling his passion for food, accompanied by his experience as a line cook at various restaurants, Mo turned his culinary skills into a successful enterprise with the creation of Dash Kitchen when the pandemic hit, essentially cultivating an idea of a ‘cloud kitchen’ specifically catered for take-out and deliveries.

Since then, Dash Kitchen has grown steadfast into the post-COVID era where customers are still enjoying the creative concept’s ability to provide different menus spread across three locations in Prague.

There’s certainly a lot to choose from for those looking to eat from the comfort of their own home, in addition to the catering that Dash offers if you’re planning a party soon!

No matter what you’re in the mood for, Dash Kitchen has it! Their four restaurants include such great meals like the different mac & cheese flavours found at Hoagie (located at Galerie Harfa) Cheesestakes & Mac, or the wide array of Asian cuisine at Mu’s Noodles, such as Kung Pao, Kurumaebi, Orijnaru and more.

If you’re feeling more Mediterranean, Dash Kitchen also offers Pou’s Greek Gyro’s that will bring you right back to the sunny beaches of Mykonos. Or hop across the sea to Casa della Lasagne, which contains different styles of lasagna to choose from such as Pesto, Bolognese and Tomato Pesto.

Last but not least is Kyblíčky.cz, with several fast food options such as chicken wings, french fries, sandwiches, and chicken burgers.

Dash Kitchen’s services expanded to catering and franchising this year, in order to bring more of Mo’s innovative concept to all of Prague. While it may have only began as a small cloud kitchen about four years ago, its creativity is expanding towards new horizons, offering a different style to the way we enjoy our food every day.
