For the second year running, more than 20 local designers and creatives will get together to organise Christmas ShoppinQ. The market is a unique event showcasing Prague’s creative talent, giving designers in the city the opportunity to show and sell their products.
Visitors will be able to look around, try, and a buy a selection of products from fashion, jewellery, and accessories, to decorative furniture and interior design accessories for your home.
FASHION
In the fashion world is Hana Frišonsová, whose work is characterized by sharp silhouettes and an experimental approach to wearable clothing using traditional techniques. She will be presenting her current collection as a result of a collaboration with Helena Krásová (KRAS), under the brand name MONOLITH PROJECT based on digital printing.
Daniela Pešková creates clothing that transcends trends and time. She will be here at the market presenting her current collection together with a selection of older pieces.
KAFKA will also present their new collection. Characteristic features are the simplicity, the purity of shapes and lines, and the search for new themes and forms for processing. Fashion designers invited to the event include: La Femme Mimi, Martin Havel, Tereza Ujevičová, Marketa Kopecka, and Dominika Charousova with her exclusive collection of lingerie. You can also see the brand Bro. with hand-embroidered products inspired by this city and its people.
JEWELLERY
Katerina Reich’s creations are inspired by modern architecture and a vision of the future, where pure minimalist lines predominate. Katerina has recently introduced new collection “Kyō” which was inspired by the life of geisha and the art of the old Japan, and was awarded this year’s Designblok Award for Best Jewellery Collection.
