Czech Football Transfer-Record Broken

It seems unbelievable, but the young goalkeeper Antonín Kinský did move from Slavia Prague to the famous Tottenham Hotspur, called „Spurs “, from London.

The only 21-year-old rising star, who spent just about half season as the starting number one in the goal of the currently best Czech side, cost the Englishmen 16.5 Mil Euro and broke so the record for the highest transfer fee paid for a footballer from the Czech top league.

The price paid for Kinský overcame the one for West Ham star Tomáš Souček or ex-Arsenal and Dortmund playmaker Tomáš Rosický. If both of these names sound familiar to you, you probably are quite an educated football fan that likes from time to time to watch some matches, if you also like to bet sometimes to make your experience more thrilling, I recommend you to consider reading this article https://online-stavkovanie.com/stavky-over-under/.

The article is written on the topic of over- and under-bets, where you bet if the number of goals in the match is going to be less or more than a certain number you choose, developing a good strategy in this specific field of betting could make you a really successful bettor.

Kinský’s career reached a massive level in an incredibly short period of time and luck played an immense role in his rise. Kinský wouldn’t probably get the chance to be the starting goalkeeper if it wasn’t for the injury of Staněk at the Euro in summer.

Kinský took his chance and delivered with gratitude great performances. And because Slavia plays regularly nearly every season in one of Europe’s international cups, the well-performing young goalie couldn’t go unnoticed. Some of you may think that Tottenham is a too big challenge for this Czech treasure, but it seems like Kinský considered his chances well and thought this transfer precisely through.

Tottenham, with their two best goalkeepers long-term injured, desperately needed another man for the job. And do you really think they would pay such a high amount of money for a guy sitting on the bench?

The media think, that he’s going to be part of the starting eleven straight away and the player alone seems quite confident about it. Although Kinský is only 21 and experienced European football only this season, his personality seems to have developed to another level. To such a high level, that he shouldn’t get shaky knees facing stars like Mohammed Salah, that he grew up watching in television.

Personally, I think that close to no one expected such a resonant transfer a few months ago. The Czech national team didn’t perform particularly well at the Euro and after swapping the manager for Hošek, to the disappointment for many, the long-awaited change didn’t come overnight.

The only positive for the Czech football community throughout these rough months was Sparta successfully qualifying for the Champions League, where they started with a home win against Salzburg. Sparta’s rival Slavia didn’t on the other hand start the season well, they didn’t make it into the CL and even their performances in the domestic league were criticized. Who could’ve expected such a turnaround?

The national team hasn’t lost any of their last five games and managed to finish first in their Nations League group. Slavia is positioned first in the Chance League with a seven-point lead on second Plzeň and although they didn’t manage to get many points in the Europa League, they performed well and played head-to-head against well-known teams in nearly every match.

The turnaround seems almost perfect, and it seems to bring almost only positive changes. But for Sparta, everything seems to have changed for the worse, they are in a crisis. They are placed third, thirteen points behind Slavia and after their rocket start in the CL, they hit the break and to reach the knock-out stage seems almost impossible with their four points. Let’s hope for the sake of Czech football they get over this depression soon and begin to be successful again.

Czech football seems to rise, big football clubs are again open to spent enormous fees for Czech domestic players. Let’s wait and see if there is another big move awaiting in this thrilling January transfer window.

For example, Pavel Šulc should be according to the media on the verge of a big move, but let’s not speculate and wait for confirmed news, until then let us enjoy watching the Premier League (especially Tottenham Hotspur matches with Kinský in the goal) to shorten the Czech football winter break, which is about to end soon.
