Countdown to Eurobaseball 2023 in Czechia: It Starts on September 24!

The Baseball European Championship will take place from September 24th to October 1st, 2023, and will welcome the best European baseball teams.

It will be hosted by Czech cities Ostrava, Brno, Prague, Třebíč, and Blansko. The tournament will feature the European baseball elite, including the reigning European champions from the Netherlands and the last finalists, the Italian team.

The rosters are not yet known but we believe they will be filled with prominent names and stars from Major League Baseball, such as Sharlon Schoop, Jurickson Profar, and Vinnie Pasquantino.

The sixteen participants of Eurobaseball 2023 are divided into four performance pools.

Pool A in Ostrava: Spain, Austria, Czechia, and Greece

Pool B in Třebíč: Italy, Sweden, Great Britain, and Hungary

Pool C in Brno: The Netherlands,  Ukraine, Croatia, and France

Poll D in Prague: Israel, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland

The Czech Republic is hosting the championship for the third time in its history (2005, 2014).

For the first time in its history, the complete Baseball European Championship will be available for streaming on the OTT platform powered by Staylive.
