From the 7th to the 14th of August 2021, the Association of Colombians in the Czech Republic (Asocol) and the Colombian community are proud to celebrate the first Colombian Week in Prague.
The main goal is to highlight the cultural values of the Colombian identity and to foster even stronger ties between the Colombian community and the Czech society.
Among the main events, they will celebrate “The Battle of Boyacá” – the decisive battle that ensured Colombian independence with a friendly football game on August 7.
The day later, you can take part in the Food Festival at Havlíčkovy sady and try traditional Colombian food: bandeja paisa, empanadas, arepas, tamales, aguapanela, mazorcada, aborrajados, chorizos and much more.
And you probably know that Colombian coffee is one of the most high-quality in the world, right?
That’s why on August 12, Dorado Speciality Coffee will organize a free coffee workshop to share unique stories about their brand, their coffee, its production, and history. After that, you will be invited to taste their amazing products.
The complete schedule of the Colombian Week is published on the following link.
