More than 1000 firemen from all of the Czech and Moravian districts will commemorate the 100th anniversary from the foundation of Czechoslovakia in a really special way.
They are going to create the biggest fireman fountain in the world, inspired by the motifs of the Bedřich Smetana’s symphonic poem called Vltava.
The firefighters will use approximately 200 hose nozzles above the river in the center of Prague, between Jirasek and Palacky bridges. The event is scheduled to take place at 22:00.
The river under the same name will be lifted up to the air and visitors will see an amazing water ballet and a light concert.
