Just Butter and Cheese. Bageterie Boulevard Launches the “Hungry Artist” Sandwich
Bageterie Boulevard will be donating 10 CZK of the proceeds from each Hungry Artist sandwich sold to theaters.
In a recent interview with Mladá fronta Dnes, the President of the Republic Miloš Zeman stated that “artists created their most beautiful works when they were hungry.”
In response, Bageterie Boulevard launched on the market the Hungry Artist sandwich. The company will be donating 10 CZK of the proceeds from each Hungry Artist sold to theaters with which it has been cooperating for a long time and they have to currently be closed due to coronavirus.
The baguette consists of bread, butter, and Maasdam cheese and it costs CZK 59. It is available at all 45 branches of Bageterie Boulevard in the Czech Republic or through BBdomu.cz delivery.
“The main goal is to help theaters, which, unlike us, cannot continue to operate at least through the window. That is why we decided to quickly introduce a new limited edition baguette and help the Czech cultural scene,” says Martina Hájková, marketing manager of Bageterie Boulevard.
