The main star of the Metronome Prague Warm Up event (September 10 – 12th) will be the British band Morcheeba.
There will also be a magnificent tribute to the world’s most famous Czech rocker Ivan Kral, and other performers will soon be confirmed.
The 2020 edition of Metronome Prague Festival was canceled due to the Covid situation and there had been hopes it could take place this June.
If you are one of the patient holders of tickets purchased for the years 2020 or 2021, you will get the opportunity to purchase tickets at a discounted price.
“This year we invite you to Metronome Prague Warm Up event, with the key encouraging slogan “We have to warm it up!”, said David Gaydečka, co-founder of Metronome festival.
British group Morcheeba has been on the global music scene since the 1996 release of their debut album Who Can You Trust?.
Although it was created at a time when electronica dominated the scene, the group founded by brothers Ross (guitar) and Paul (electronics) Godfrey along with singer Skye Edwards was able to combine mainstream electronica with a number of other influences.
Currently, the group is comprised of Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey, and the two founders and other musicians performed at the last edition of Metronome Prague that took place in 2019 to rave reviews.
