From Saturday, May 30, to the end of October, concerts will be held on the rooftop of Lucerna.
According to Ondrej Kobza, the live concerts will begin half an hour before sunset. “The last note will sound when the sun disappears beyond the Prague Castle,” he added.
On the roof of the building, the organizers planted several cherry trees, which symbolize The Cherry Orchard play by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov.
. Therefore, the concert program is called the “Cherry Season”.
The admission is 100 CZK.

About Lucerna rooftop
The Lucerna rooftop is a 1000 m2 unique space above the Lucerna palace. The whole building carrying distinctive elements of subsiding Art Nouveau and incoming Modernism has been finished in 1921 by Václav Havel (the grandfather of president Václav Havel).
The space is used and will continue to be used for the purposes of events, as well as lectures and dancing.
Among the events taking place here, there were morning yoga, lectures, book christenings, movies projections, concerts at the dusk with Iva Bittová and Dan Bárta, Holy Mass with Láďa Herian, the roof was converted into a green yard within the project Meadow upon the Lucerna.
