If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out, as the vibrant Cafe Nebusice serves up authentic flavours of Indian cuisine, with a modern twist.
It puts a modern spin on the traditional Indian restaurant with a cool and casual space with fun vibes, great food, go-to cocktails, great coffee, and cakes.
The owners Nishant and Alana are both foodies and come from culinary scenes. Nishant worked in hospitality in India and Alana comes from a family with an 85-year background in the restaurant industry.
They stumbled upon this restaurant after Covid and made it their mission to liven the place up. They are still running it as a pop-up and hope to finalize the name in the coming months.
They were so tired of the stereotypical Indian restaurants in Prague with the same design and styles. “We wanted something new, an Indian restaurant does not always have to have a traditional Indian setting,” says Alana to Prague Morning.
“We want to build a community and have a contemporary perspective on Indian cuisine. We organize fashion pop-up events and lots of other fun get-togethers. The food and atmosphere are homely and we bring to you Mom’s style of cooking in a modern environment,” added Nishant.
“You can try out our chicken lollipops and kebabs that are made to order and recommended by the head chef Chetan Singh”
And exciting news, you can join Cafe Nebusice for a family-friendly drag brunch happening every month starting November or join for the holiday season Soul to Pop night in December.

The restaurant will also be showing the World Cup Football and Cricket games at the restaurant. Come enjoy it with a Pilsner beer or an Indian beer.
There is also a special autumn lunch menu that will give you that delicious fall feeling of warmth.
Cafe Nebusice is open Tuesday to Friday 9-22:00, Saturday to Sunday 10-22:00, and closed only on Mondays.
