GALLERY: The Czech Republic's Largest LEGO Store Opens in Prague
Prague Morning
The Czech Republic’s largest official LEGO Store opened on Thursday, October 22, on Na Příkopě.
The two-storey store covers 496 square metres and combines retail space with interactive attractions, creative activities and displays inspired by the Czech capital.
Among the features greeting visitors at the entrance are the words “Ahoj Praha” (Hello Prague), a model of a No. 23 tram, and figures depicting a lion, Emperor Charles IV and a traditional Prague lamplighter.
The ground floor houses shelves of LEGO sets alongside glass display cases showcasing models and figures. The displays were developed with the involvement of staff at the LEGO factory in Kladno, whose work is also reflected in the store’s custom-built models.

The first floor features a Christmas-themed play area where visitors can build their own decorations from LEGO bricks and hang them on a specially prepared Christmas tree. The activity is open to children and adults alike.
A separate wall made entirely of LEGO bricks gives visitors the freedom to create their own pictures without following instructions or predefined designs.

Visitors who take the stairs to the second floor will find another part of the store’s design. The staircase and surrounding walls feature murals inspired by Prague, including a city panorama and Prague Castle.

The second floor contains further interactive attractions and creative spaces. Its centrepiece is a three-metre-tall replica of Prague’s Astronomical Clock.
