PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP Returns to Holešovice Market on September 3

Prague’s Holešovice Market will turn into a one-day celebration of Italian food next Thursday, September 3, with the fourth edition of PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with more than two dozen food and drink businesses serving pizza, pinsa, pasta, arancini, Italian desserts, coffee and drinks. Admission is free.

Among the returning participants will be Pizza Metro, Mate’s PIZZA TRUCK, PIZZA Therapy, Pinsa Al Forno, HOLY PASTA, La Mia Spitzeria, Spojka Karlín, ŝam.ŝam.Piaggio, PIZZAKOLEM, Picoška, Vege Stará Placka, Naše maso and Cukrárna U Moučků.

This year will also bring a new style of pizza to the event. Third Coast Pizza will serve Detroit-style pizza, alongside the wide selection of Neapolitan pizza available from other vendors.

Visitors looking for something beyond pizza can try fresh pasta, pinsa, arancini and Italian sweets.

Drinks will include prosecco, beer, cocktails and coffee, with Gin Twist, Aperol Ape, Milujemě Prosecco, Pivovar Chroust and Garage 22 running various bars and stands. Garage 22 will also operate a negroni bar.

Bovelii Caffé will arrive in its red Piaggio, serving coffee roasted in Parma, Italy.

The programme will include music and Italian lessons from Lingua Nostra. Beads & Lemons will also be at the market with jewellery inspired by life by the sea.

PIZZA! PIZZA! POP-UP has been held at Holešovice Market for four years, bringing together restaurants, food producers and other businesses focused on Italian cuisine. This year’s edition will feature more participants than last year, including both returning vendors and newcomers.
