Prague Tram Disruptions Will Affect Six Lines During Autumn School Break
Prague Morning
Prague tram passengers will face several service changes during the autumn school break, including a five-day suspension between I. P. Pavlova and Otakarova.
The changes come as Prague Public Transit Company adjusts services for the school holidays and carries out track repairs. Passengers travelling through Nusle, Vršovice and Žižkov should check their routes before setting off.
Six Tram Lines Affected by Track Repairs
Tram services between I. P. Pavlova and Otakarova will be suspended in both directions from approximately 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, until midnight on Sunday, November 1.
Tram line 13 will be suspended entirely during this period. Lines 2 and 21 will be combined into one route, with trams running from Petřiny to Karlovo náměstí before continuing as line 21 to Slivenec. The same arrangement will apply in the opposite direction.
Other services will follow diverted routes. Tram line 6, travelling from Nádraží Holešovice, will run from Karlovo náměstí via Albertov, Ostrčilovo náměstí and Divadlo Na Fidlovačce to Otakarova, where it will rejoin its regular route.
Line 11 will be diverted from I. P. Pavlova via Náměstí Míru, Čechovo náměstí, Nádraží Vršovice and Otakarova. It will return to its usual route at Náměstí Bratří Synků and continue towards Spořilov.
Night tram line 96, which connects Petřiny with Spořilov, will also be diverted. It will run via Náměstí Míru, Čechovo náměstí, Nádraží Vršovice, Otakarova and Náměstí Bratří Synků.
A replacement bus service, X11, will operate during the day between Nádraží Vršovice and Sarajevská. It will also stop at Fričova, Divadlo Na Fidlovačce and Otakarova.

Žižkov Tram Restrictions to Last Until December 18
Separate restrictions in Žižkov have been in effect since October 11, with tram services suspended in both directions between Nákladové nádraží Žižkov and Ohrada. The disruption is scheduled to continue until December 18.
Tram lines 9 and 10 currently terminate at Nákladové nádraží Žižkov and are linked to each other. Lines 16 and 34 have been cancelled, while lines 5, 7, 11, 95 and 98 are operating on modified routes.
Three additional tram services have been introduced to help passengers travel through the affected area. Line 30 connects Sídliště Ďáblice with Spojovací via Palmovka and Ohrada. Line 37 runs from Lehovec to Spojovací, also serving Palmovka and Ohrada. Night line 90 connects Vozovna Kobylisy with Spojovací via the same two stops.
Replacement buses are running along the suspended section. Daytime services X9 and X95 connect Nákladové nádraží Žižkov, Biskupcova, Ohrada and Vozovna Žižkov. Night bus X98 serves Olšanské hřbitovy, Želivského, Nákladové nádraží Žižkov, Biskupcova, Ohrada and Vozovna Žižkov.
