Slaughter feast on Heřmaňák
This Saturday, you may look forward to a delicious carnival slaughter feast at your favorite Hermaňák! As always, jitrnice and jelítka, light tlačenka, black hail soup (prdelačka), goulash, and other delicacies await you here.
To support zero waste, you can bring your own packaging is welcome although it is not required. In addition, there will be a regular farmers’ market running, so visitors will be able to buy a range of products they are normally used to.

St. Nicholas Bell Tower discounted entry
This weekend, you are cordially invited to come to Prague‘s St. Nicholas Town Bell Tower, which you can visit for discounted entry for 65 CZK. The last entry is possible 30 minutes before the end of opening hours, i.e. at 17:30.

Carnivals in Prague
On Saturday 18 February, do not miss the well-known celebration „masopust, which will happen throughout the whole of Prague!
You may look forward to the annual carnival parade of masks accompanied by live music, which is attended by hundreds of people every year. Here is the list of the places where the carnival (masopust) will take place:
Malostranský and Hradčany carnival
Time: 13:00 – 18:00
It starts from Loretánské náměstí and goes through Malá Strana to Kampa, where it culminates in a feast. The parade will meet in front of the U Černého vola inn by 13:00.
Carnival at Fajnový dvor
Time: 14:00 – 17:00
The carnival parade will start at 2 pm from KKCK towards the town hall and back accompanied by members of DS Gaudium and drummers from ZUŠ Klement Slavický.
Carnival at Kbely
Time: 13:00 – 17:00
The parade of masks with the band starts at Kbely Central Park, where the masqueraders will go on a tour. There will be three stops along the way. The parade will end again in Central Park Kbely. Refreshments will be available throughout the whole time (13:00 to 15:30).
Letensky carnival
Time: 12:30 – 17:00
The parade will start after 13:00, and a “tour” of the masquerades will go through cultural institutions. The masqueraders will have free access to the expositions of the National Museum of Agriculture, the National Technical Museum, the Waterworks, the Coffee Museum and the Scarabeus Gallery with an exhibition of puppets.
Carnival at Karlín
Time: 13:00 – 18:45
The parade starts at 13:00 from Kaizl Gardens and will continue to Karlínské náměstí, where a further program will follow from 14.00.
Prague Vegan Fest
Join the celebration of vegan and raw food in community form in Zizkov at Space 39. You may look forward to a packed program full of discussions, delicious food, workshops etc. There are also planned creative workshops and stalls that will be full of vegan treats.
As you may expect, the event supports zero-waste.
