The Prague Mayor’s Office and the US Embassy in the Czech Republic will cooperate in offering internship opportunities to Roma students. This was stated in a memorandum signed on Tuesday in Prague by representatives of both bodies.

The scholarship holders at the City Hall could address the issue of greater integration of the Roma minority into the mainstream society and the situation of the Roma in the different neighbourhoods of the Czech capital.

The US Embassy in Prague will offer educational courses to young Roma. These will include language classes and various other disciplines.
