Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) started selling respirators in 40 different places on Tuesday. Passengers can buy them for CZK 10 per piece. Sales points are marked with a special sticker.
Respirators are sold in the lobbies of 30 metro stations, at 9 DPP traffic information centers, and at the Central Dispatch Center in Na Bojišti Street.
“Respirators meet all medical certificates and the requirements, including a filtration efficiency of at least 94% according to the relevant standards,” DPP states on its website.

- Line A – Motol Hospital, Bořislavka, Dejvická, Můstek, Náměstí Míru, Strašnická, Želivského, Skalka, Depot Hostivař
- Line B – Zličín, Luka, Hůrka, Smíchovské nádraží, Anděl, Karlovo náměstí, Můstek, Florenc, Palmovka, Vysočanská, Rajská zahrada, Černý Most
- Line C – Letňany, Ládví, Kobylisy, Nádraží Holešovice, I. P. Pavlova, Vyšehrad, Kačerov, Roztyly, Háje
- Traffic information centers – Anděl, Hradčanská, Můstek, Nádraží Veleslavín, Terminals 1 and 2 at Václav Havel Airport Prague, Prague City Hall, DPP Central Dispatching
“We have been trying for a long time to make Prague’s public transport safe, so in cooperation with the City of Prague, we decided to meet the needs of passengers and help increase the availability of respirators directly in public transport,” added Petr Witowski, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of DPP.
