Summer in Prague is traditionally a time for festivals, open-air events, and nightlife venues, all of which attract visitors with special programs.

Among them is Roxy, which is kicking off the new season with an expanded lineup of events, new production elements, and confirmed acts for the fall season.

The club on Dlouhá Street has been shaping the city’s electronic music scene since 1992, and earlier this year it received the Bass Award for best club in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This summer, the venue is entering the warmer months with a packed schedule designed for regulars and newcomers alike. Three recurring nights form the backbone of the program.

Mainstage Party and Techno Night take over Fridays and Saturdays, while DNB Wednights, held every other Wednesday, bring drum and bass enthusiasts together in the middle of the week. DNB Wednights start at 8 p.m., while the club’s regular Friday and Saturday events begin at 11 p.m.

Alongside its regular program, Roxy is preparing a series of themed nights that push the energy even further. Techno [Rave] and Hard Dance editions promise a heavier soundtrack and a different atmosphere for those looking for something beyond the club’s standard format.

Music remains at the centre of the experience. The venue’s d&b Soundscape system, featuring more than 50 speakers, creates an immersive environment where sound moves throughout the space rather than simply coming from the stage. It’s one of the reasons many clubgoers continue returning to Roxy year after year.

Visitors can also expect a number of additions designed to enhance the overall atmosphere. A photo booth, an Instax photographer on the dancefloor, expanded seating areas, popcorn, and a party mascot with a CO2 gun are all part of the summer experience, adding moments of spontaneity and fun throughout the night.

The drinks menu will also feature seasonal offers. Guests can order six Chupitos for 400 CZK through a 4+2 promotion, while six Olmeca shots are available for 600 CZK, down from the regular price of 150 CZK per shot.

What’s more, Roxy is increasingly establishing itself as a venue that comes alive even during the day. New events such as Techno Pilates or Dance Workouts show that the club is no longer just a destination for night owls, but also a place where a community of people with a shared interest in music, movement, and urban culture comes together.

The autumn calendar is already taking shape. Sickick is set to perform on September 4, followed by Andy C and MC Tonn Piper on September 26. MCR-T will perform on November 27, while producer 1991 arrives on October 30. The recently confirmed Agents of Time will take over Roxy on November 13.
