German Rock Legends Scorpions to Play Prague's O2 Arena in 2027

One of the most successful hard rock bands of all time will perform on June 9, 2027, at Prague’s O2 arena.

Fans can look forward to an evening filled with unforgettable hits, iconic guitar riffs, and the electrifying energy that has defined the Scorpions for over six decades.

Led by charismatic frontman Klaus Meine, the band will revisit tracks that have left an indelible mark on the history of rock music, including “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Still Loving You,” and the timeless ballad “Wind of Change.”

In 2027, the Scorpions will embark on another extensive world tour titled “Love, Peace & Rock’n’Roll,” following up on their successful “60th Anniversary – Coming Home” anniversary concerts.

The schedule includes approximately thirty performances across three continents—ranging from European festivals and arena shows (including stops in their native Germany) to dates in North and Latin America.

The Scorpions rank among the most significant and influential rock bands in music history. Formed in 1965 in Hanover, Germany, the group has built a global reputation over the course of an extraordinary career, thanks to their unmistakable sound, high-energy live shows, and an ability to connect with audiences across generations. They have sold over 100 million records and performed countless times on the world’s biggest stages.

Their major breakthrough arrived in the 1980s with the albums Blackout and Love at First Sting, which catapulted the band into the global rock elite. It was during this period that hits such as “No One Like You,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” and “Big City Nights” emerged—songs that remain an essential part of their live repertoire to this day.

The Scorpions also gained fame for their emotive ballads, most notably “Still Loving You” and “Send Me an Angel.”

A truly special place in their discography is held by the song “Wind of Change,” which became a symbol of the political and social changes at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s.

Inspired by the atmosphere at the end of the Cold War, the song remains one of the most famous rock ballads of all time.
