Prague Morning

The countdown is on for one of Prague’s most anticipated beer events of the summer.

From June 11 to 15, the Sour Beer Festival returns for its fifth edition, bringing a wild lineup of colorful, tangy brews to Permanent Pragovka in Prague 9.

Visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of Sour Ale, Berliner Weisse, Gose, Pastry Sour, Lambik, and other wild-fermented styles—many of them never before seen in the Czech Republic.

“We’re completely hooked on these beers,” say the organizers. “We can’t get enough of the vibrant flavors and brewing creativity. It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer.”

Beyond the beers, Permanent Pragovka offers an experience that goes far beyond your average taproom.

Located in the revitalized industrial district of Vysočany, right next to the Kolbenova metro station, the venue blends Prague’s growing craft beer culture with urban art and a gritty, Berlin-esque atmosphere.

Outside, visitors can lounge in the garden, surrounded by murals and installations from the neighboring Pragovka Art District—a thriving hub for contemporary art in the city.
