Summer Repair Works to Impact Over 25 Tram Routes in Prague

Starting June 29, Prague will see significant tram and bus route changes. Twenty-six tram lines and five bus routes will be diverted until further notice.

The changes will affect both day and night traffic, primarily in the city center and Holešovice.

To keep passengers informed, the transport company will distribute leaflets in vehicles and at stops. Additionally, staff wearing reflective vests will be on-site to assist travelers.

The specific tram lines impacted are 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 41, 42, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, and 98. Affected bus routes include 156, 901, 905, 907, and 911.

The closures are due to planned track repairs and maintenance. The following areas will experience disruptions:

  • Anděl (Nádražní Street)
  • Na Zámecké Street
  • Strossmayerovo náměstí – Výstaviště
  • Wenceslas Square
  • Libeňský most – Palmovka section
  • Kotorská-Pankrác

Several tram lines will change their routes, and some stops will be moved or newly established. Additionally, new bus lines X25, X35, and X94 will be introduced.
