
Food festival Polívkování: Smíchovská náplavka
This Saturday, enjoy the variety of scents wafting from the traditional event Polívkování. Situated on the Smíchovská náplavka embankment and running from 10 am to 6 pm, the traditional event is considered the largest display of soups from around the world by the event organizers involved.
In addition to the traditional Czech dishes, visitors will also be able to taste soups like Russian borscht, Mexican chipotle, French bouillabaisse, Vietnamese pho or Japanese ramen.
Pumpkin games: Prague Botanical Garden
During the autumn, the Prague Botanical Garden focuses on pumpkins, preparing an exhibition with fairy-tale characters and an accompanying program for visitors.
One of these events — the Pumpkin Games — will take place this Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm in the Upper Garden. During the Pumpkin Games, children and their parents alike will be able to create various arrangements, animals and all sorts of monsters from pumpkins and other autumnal fruits.
Prague Coffee Festival: Pražská tržnice
On Saturday, the main program of the Prague Coffee Festival will take place in halls 13 and 40 of the Prague Market.
From 9 am to 6 pm, visitors can go enjoy the tasting bars of various roasters, take part in a workshop of latte art and homemade coffee or listen to one of the many presentations.
