Nebu Restaurant – Extraordinary Indian Fusion in Prague

In Nebušice (Prague 6) and also at Manifesto Market, you can find Nebu Restaurant. Its owner Sunil is going a new way and combines world cuisine with his homeland Indian cuisine. We met with Sunil to find out how this was created and spoke ab bit with him what made him come to Prague, the answer was obvious. “Before Prague, I lived in Bali, about 5 years ago I met my wife Gabi on an island called Lombok, well that’s what brought me to Prague, since then two very gorgeous little boys, Charles and Kian, and the charming city keeps me here,” said Sunil. “I moved to a house in Nebušice that’s 100 meters from my restaurant, and that’s where the name Nebu comes from.  The restaurant was an impulsive decision as I’m a big-time foodie and restaurants are a passion. From May 29 to June 1 You Can Visit Prague Castle Rooms For FREE

The Prague Castle complex will reopen to the public on May 25, 2020, as part of a relaxing of anti-coronavirus measures. The interiors will be open daily from 10.00 to 18.00. The government had originally planned to open all such facilities on June 8. During the weekend from May 29 to June 1, you can visit for free: – Cathedral of St Vitus, Wenceslaus, and Adalbert (last entrance into the Great South Tower 20 minutes before the closing time) – The Old Royal Palace (including the exposition “The History of Prague Castle”) – Basilica of St. George – Rosenberg Palace – Golden Lane – Exhibition at Queen Anne’s Summer Palace In 2018, over 2.4 million tourists visited the Prague Castle and its St. Vitus Cathedral. Discounts are available for children under 16, students or seniors over 65, while children under the age of 6 and disabled people, among others, can have access the whole complex for free. “The Place Everyone Was Ashamed Of” Will be a Distant Memory

The historical house from the turn of the 14th and 15th century used to serve as a spa or a café; Karel Havlíček Borovský used to live here and publish his works here. Since 1999, Karlovy Lázně have been the largest music club in Europe, according to their operators. However, the shop arcade of the five-story building which leads tourists from Charles’s Bridge to the Novotný Bridge (Novotného Lávka), is one of the more distasteful places in the metropolis. The municipal authority of the capital helped the owner with its reconstruction. During a meeting on Monday, Prague’s councilors approved grants for several owners of historically significant buildings. One of them was the PRAM ABS company which operates the above-mentioned music club in Karlovy Lázně and which owns one half of the shop arcade. A different genre is played on each of the levels of the building; company events and parties take place here as well. Czech State Could Buy Up to 100% of Smartwings Airline Group

The Czech government could buy up to 100% of airline operator Smartwings, the owner of Czech Airlines, or offer the national flag carrier state-guaranteed loans, Industry Minister Karel Havlicek said on Saturday. The government would discuss the situation with Smartwings and a decision should be reached by the end of June. He said the group was of strategic interest. Smartwings said it welcomed any discussions. “We still believe that further debate about support for the company, which employs 2,500 people, will play out in a businesslike manner,” the group said in a statement. Havlicek said any government move would be an investment, adding the group could be sold later, possibly for a profit. “We are not saying that it will happen but I look out for the interests of transport and industry. In this view, I think it is necessary to protect this type of firm, not only this type but others also,” he said. The government has previously raised the possibility of guaranteeing loans for the group. Smartwings’ Czech Airlines is set to resume flights on Monday after a disruption lasting a month and a half. The construction of the new multifunctional building The Flow Building on Wenceslas Square, also known as the Flower House, is nearing completion. The Flow Building will provide seven floors of energy-efficient and sustainable office space, three levels of flagship retail, and two basement levels of parking. Like Tom Hanks. Polish Citizen Got Stuck at Prague Airport for Four Days

Pawel Jurski, a Polish citizen, spent four days at Prague Airport. He tried to return to his homeland via Prague, but the Czech authorities prevented him from leaving the transit zone and entering Czech territory. His story recalls the movie The Terminal (2004) where Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) is an Eastern European forced to take up residence at a New York airport as his homeland has undergone a coup and ceases to exist. He quickly finds comrades to rely on, gets a job, and falls in love with an air hostess (Catherine Zeta Jones). On Thursday, May 14, Mr. Jurski was picked up at the airport by the consul of the Polish embassy in Prague, who will help him on his way to Poland. “The Polish consul picked up the passenger at the airport today,” Artur Lukiańczuk from the embassy told ČTK. Prague Brings Contemporary Art Into Four Metro Stations

The exhibition “Art Behind the Line” is the first project that shows Prague metro stations as a space open for contemporary art. The project was launched on May 11 as a cooperation between the Prague Public Transport (DPP) and the Prague City Gallery (GHMP) at four metro stations: Můstek (line A), Florenc, Náměstí Republiky and Karlovo náměstí on line B. The exhibition runs through December 31, 2020, and showcase 16 works by 8 different artists. Passengers can enjoy photographic works by Jiří Kovanda, Markéta Othová, Krištof Kintera, Timo, Lucia Sceranková, Ondřej Přibyl and the artistic duo Lukáš Jasanský – Martin Polák and Hynek Alt – Aleksandra Vajd.
