Smartwings Resumes Flights to St. Petersburg
The Czech air carrier Smartwings resumes its flights between Prague and St. Petersburg from 29 April 2021. The scheduled service to/from St. Petersburg will be operated twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. The operation to the second largest city of Russia was suspended last spring due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The flights are already opened for sales and tickets can be purchased on the website of both Smartwings and Czech Airlines (under the existing code-share cooperation) as well as by travel agents worldwide. During the upcoming Summer season, Smartwings Group, which includes both Smartwings and Czech Airlines, offers flights from airports in the Czech Republic to 74 destinations in Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, UAE, Cabo Verde, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Malta, Ukraine and Iceland. Smartwings is planning to operate flights not only from Czech airports but also from its hubs in Poland, France, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Canary Islands during the summer season.
