Take a Look: Prague’s New 4 Km-Long Promenade in Vršovice

Prague councilors presented a study of a new promenade for pedestrians, runners, skaters, and cyclists. It will be a four-kilometer-long connection between Vršovice and Strašnice in the route of the canceled railway corridor of the railway line. “We will get new barrier-free areas for meetings, social and cultural activities, regardless of age and ability to move. The promenade will connect to the existing surrounding network of streets. It will offer Prague citizens plenty of space for walking, cycling, or off-road skating,” said Deputy Mayor Adam Scheinherr. The reconstruction of the historic bridge and three new footbridges will be part of the transformation of the whole area. “The plan is to obtain a building permit in 2022, to compete with the contractor, and to start construction,” added Scheinherr. In the first phase, will take place the construction of a four-kilometer section between U Seřadiště and Dolínecká streets, and gradually the promenade will arrive near the Vršovice railway station. According to Scheinherr, the project will cost 200 to 300 million CZK. xosotin chelseathông tin chuyển nhượngcâu lạc bộ bóng đá arsenalbóng đá atalantabundesligacầu thủ haalandUEFAevertonfutebol ao vivofutemaxmulticanaisonbetbóng đá world cupbóng đá inter milantin juventusbenzemala ligaclb leicester cityMUman citymessi lionelsalahnapolineymarpsgronaldoserie atottenhamvalenciaAS ROMALeverkusenac milanmbappenapolinewcastleaston...

Man Discovers Python in His Hotel Bathroom in Žižkov

This is something nightmares are made of. A man got a big fright when he opened up his hotel room bathroom last night in Prague’s Žižkov district to find a live snake inside. As Lidovky.cz reports, the guest immediately reported the unusual find to the receptionist, who called the police. Snake catchers were called to the hotel to remove the reptile from the bathroom. “The snake was safely removed and relocated, and the customer handled the situation like an absolute champ, having a sense of humor about it the entire time,” theyf said. The snake turned out to be non-poisonous. The royal python was taken to a shelter for abandoned animals in Dolní Měcholupy. According to the snake catcher “if you find a snake in similar circumstances, the best thing to do is not to panic; being bitten is extremely rare and they are only dangerous if you interact with them.” The hotel is investigating where the snake came from. xosotin chelseathông tin chuyển nhượngcâu lạc bộ bóng đá arsenalbóng đá atalantabundesligacầu thủ haalandUEFAevertonfutebol ao vivofutemaxmulticanaisonbetbóng đá world cupbóng đá inter milantin juventusbenzemala ligaclb leicester cityMUman citymessi lionelsalahnapolineymarpsgronaldoserie atottenhamvalenciaAS ROMALeverkusenac milanmbappenapolinewcastleaston villaliverpoolfa cupreal madridpremier leagueAjaxbao bong da247EPLbarcelonabournemouthaff cupasean footballbên lề sân...

Photos: 52 Years Since a Soviet Invasion Ended the Prague Spring

In 1968, during a period called the “Prague Spring,” Alexander Dubček, the newly elected leader of Czechoslovakia, enacted pro-democracy reforms that loosened state control and expanded individual rights, giving hope to citizens and angering the Soviet Union. Soviet leaders in Moscow believed that Czechoslovakia, a member of the Warsaw Pact, had gone too far, and summoned the country’s leaders for discussions. By late summer, the talks were not going the way the Kremlin had wanted, so more than 2,000 tanks and thousands more Warsaw Pact troops were sent to invade and occupy the country on August 21. In the first weeks, occupying soldiers were met with protests and limited resistance, and more than 70 civilians were killed in the conflicts.                         xosotin chelseathông tin chuyển nhượngcâu lạc bộ bóng đá arsenalbóng đá atalantabundesligacầu thủ haalandUEFAevertonfutebol ao vivofutemaxmulticanaisonbetbóng đá world cupbóng đá inter milantin juventusbenzemala ligaclb leicester cityMUman citymessi lionelsalahnapolineymarpsgronaldoserie atottenhamvalenciaAS ROMALeverkusenac milanmbappenapolinewcastleaston villaliverpoolfa cupreal madridpremier leagueAjaxbao bong da247EPLbarcelonabournemouthaff cupasean footballbên lề sân cỏbáo bóng đá mớibóng đá cúp thế giớitin bóng đá ViệtUEFAbáo bóng đá việt namHuyền thoại bóng đágiải ngoại hạng anhSeagametap chi bong da the gioitin bong...

Czech Republic Flash Flooding Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Missing as Dozens Rescued

One person died, another is missing and dozens were rescued amid flash flooding in the northeastern Czech Republic, rescuers said Monday. Several towns and villages north of the city of Olomouc, 140 miles east of Prague, were flooded by 3.3 feet of water following thunderstorms that were accompanied by torrential rains overnight. Police said a 48-year-old woman has died while a 74-year-old woman is missing. Regional firefighter spokeswoman Lucie Balazova said firefighters rescued three dozen people from flooded buildings, cars, or directly from the water. The raging water also destroyed a road bridge. Rooftop Amphitheater Among Vineyards. The New Building in South Moravia

Architecture firm CHYBIK + KRISTOF has designed a rooftop amphitheater in Dobšice near Znojmo, South Moravia. The project has been designed for Lahofer Winery. With its 430 hectares of vineyards and of 800,000 bottles of wine per year, Lahofer is one of the largest wine producers in the Czech Republic. The design comprises three interconnected structures — the wine-making facility, the company’s administrative base, and a visitor center that includes a tasting room. Meanwhile, a rooftop amphitheater will be capable of hosting public concerts and cultural events. The two halls of the winemaking facility vary in height, corresponding with the production processes taking place within. The first hall, lower in profile, contains the central operations, wine-making production, and employee facilities. The second hall allows for operations that require lower temperatures, such as the winepress, cellar, and store. The architectural design of the rooftop amphitheater, meanwhile, offers a panoramic outlook of the vineyard, while holding a community space dedicated to cultural events, festivals, and theater performances. xosotin chelseathông tin chuyển nhượngcâu lạc bộ bóng đá arsenalbóng đá atalantabundesligacầu thủ haalandUEFAevertonfutebol ao vivofutemaxmulticanaisonbetbóng đá world cupbóng đá inter milantin juventusbenzemala ligaclb leicester cityMUman citymessi lionelsalahnapolineymarpsgronaldoserie atottenhamvalenciaAS ROMALeverkusenac milanmbappenapolinewcastleaston villaliverpoolfa cupreal madridpremier leagueAjaxbao...

All the supplies are intended for use by healthcare workers, emergency services, hospitals, and nursing homes. Firefighters and police officers were in charge of unloading and distributing approximately 13,000 cubic meters of medical devices. VIDEO: The ‘Most Hated Woman’ Katie Hopkins Receives a Fake C**T Award in Prague

Katie Hopkins – who was recently suspended from Twitter while they investigate her hate-spreading account – was recently the recipient of an award from ‘The Cape Town Collective For Freedom Of Speech’. Or so she thought – the only problem was the group was as fake as the award itself. The plan, dreamt up by Youtuber Josh Pieters, would see Hopkins contacted by email to inform her that she was the recipient of the fake award and then the copious planning of the event at which it would be presented to her. Pieters hired a room in a Prague hotel and brought in actors to play the parts of other members of the group. xosotin chelseathông tin chuyển nhượngcâu lạc bộ bóng đá arsenalbóng đá atalantabundesligacầu thủ haalandUEFAevertonfutebol ao vivofutemaxmulticanaisonbetbóng đá world cupbóng đá inter milantin juventusbenzemala ligaclb leicester cityMUman citymessi lionelsalahnapolineymarpsgronaldoserie atottenhamvalenciaAS ROMALeverkusenac milanmbappenapolinewcastleaston villaliverpoolfa cupreal madridpremier leagueAjaxbao bong da247EPLbarcelonabournemouthaff cupasean footballbên lề sân cỏbáo bóng đá mớibóng đá cúp thế giớitin bóng đá ViệtUEFAbáo bóng đá việt namHuyền thoại bóng đágiải ngoại hạng anhSeagametap chi bong da the gioitin bong da lutrận đấu hôm nayviệt nam bóng đátin nong bong daBóng đá nữthể thao 7m24h bóng đábóng đá hôm...
