Ebola has not been confirmed in patient at Bulovka

An American recently in Africa was admitted to a Prague Bulovka hospital on Friday with suspected Ebola, but tests ruled out the virus and other hemorrhagic fevers, said Health Minister Vlastimil Válek.

Number of foreigners in Czechia has slightly decreased

As of the end of March, 1,073,303 foreigners were living in the Czech Republic. According to the ministry, the number of foreigners decreased by 20,787 people year-on-year, which is just under two percent.

Almost a quarter of households in the Czech Republic do not have financial reserves for unexpected expenses, while 7% live from day to day, according to a survey by the NMS agency, presented to journalists by Uniqa insurance company yesterday.
